[MG100] week 20.26 Celebrate the Wins
Last Friday's Core Call, Dr. Anna Yusim and Dr. Julie Rosenberg discussed the topic of fear. Anna spoke about the psychological, emotional, and spiritual aspects of fear. She discussed the 5 core fears we all share, and the unanticipated 6th fear that surprised many: fear of fully owning your own power. She then discussed the 4 limiting beliefs from which all fears derive, and how to shift these 4 limiting beliefs into 4 life-affirming truths. Julie then discussed the biological, medical, and evolutionary aspects of fear and how, from an evolutionary standpoint, our instinctual fears are ultimately the reason we are alive today. Synchroniztically, Marshall reached out and let me know that Monday, he also wanted to lead a conversation in the same vein around Imposter Syndrome and ego attachment. I highly recommend watching the video and coming to Marshall's call today. Clearly, this is in the zeitgeist now.
Speaking of overcoming fears... let's celebrate the win of our own Aicha Evans who, after not even 18 months as CEO of ZOOX has led the company (during a pandemic) to a successful acquisition by Amazon an amazing new road for this company and journey for Aicha. Speaking for many of the 100 Coaches, we are so happy for her success. It is critical with so much disruption in the world that we take time, stand up, and celebrate the wins!

Mountains of print have been written about *culture*. Loonshots identifies the small shifts in *structure* that control this transition, the same way that temperature controls the change from water to ice.
Wed, Jul 1, 2020 10 am EDT Rob Nail leads a collaborative session on imagining the future
On this call, Rob would like to offer a brief respite from the fear and anxiety we have all been facing daily for the past many months. How about we all travel to the future together? We can explore and try to find artifacts to bring back to today to provide some hope and excitement for facing our current challenges.
Over the past many years at Singularity University, Rob developed a variety of tools for forecasting the future and innovating new solutions to shape it. He would like to share some of the thinking behind this and test some early concepts for virtual workshops with you. This promises to be informative and interactive and will count on you to help Rob figure out how to also create more value with the format.
In advance, check out his brief introduction of Science Fiction Design Intelligence (SciFi DI). Also, if you want to go deeper, you can check out an example of published output from one of our past workshops on the “Future of Learning” here.
