[MG100] week 20.32 Summer Stock
Ayse started gratitude drawings inspired by our friend, the amazing Chester Elton. This week she drew one of our newest members, Nankhonde Kasonde-van den Broek. She is grateful to her for being a model of resilience, courage, and calm in the middle of the storm. Or as she puts it, “I am not in the hurricane because I can see it."
Thank you Nankhonde, and Chester!
This is the week each year that I like to take stock of where I am and what I am doing.
So it is also an appropriate time to share with you what is going on behind the scenes of 100 Coaches (known internally as MG100). This has been a busy year. We have expanded our numbers by over 100 new members, we launched our first (and hopefully not last!) annual event, we had a major showing at Thinkers50 and launched the Leading Global Coaches awards. And not only that, we are now developing a multi-faceted organization that we hope will create the kind of growth and sustainability that will allow us to endure and thrive, continuing to bring the best leadership thinking and coaching to enhance and support talent throughout the world.
100 Coaches referral business
We are establishing a new approach to developing opportunities for coaches, speakers, and consultants. In the coming weeks, we will be announcing that we are bringing in a new partner to the 100 Coaches Consulting business, expanding our reach, improving our methods, and growing this part of the organization.
Methods Of Leadership
We have built a new educational platform with some of the best 100 Coaches thinking - it is called Methods of Leadership (methodsof.com) We soft-launched a few months ago and have since hired Path Interactive as our digital agency and hired Janice Perkins as CMO. We will be adding new content from additional 100 Coaches members in the coming months. We are very excited by the prospect of this endeavor to promote our work, the work of our members to continue to advance the work of the most talented leaders. If you would like a free subscription to the courses, please reach out to Janice at janice@methodsofleaders.com

Men are rewarded for their ambition. Women are marginalized and sometimes punished for showing ambition. John Baldoni wrote about this dichotomy for Smartbrief and he quoted two MG100 colleagues: Jennifer McCollum and Sally Helgesen. You can read the article here.
