Last week I was driving to a weeklong vacation and I was stuck in traffic. A two-hour drive became a four-hour drive. I kept thinking to myself, should I have left at a different time, is there an accident I can avoid, why is everyone driving now? I thought about how unlucky I was to be caught in this car for so long moving so slow. I looked for blame and it was all around me. Blame didn't relieve the stress, it just gave it focus. I could feel it eating me up, and the car was still not going any faster. So, I changed the narrative.
